Heathrow parking guide

Heathrow is the UK's busiest airport, flying from four passenger terminals — Terminal 2, Terminal 3, Terminal 4 and Terminal 5 — all inside the perimeter road to the west of London. Wherever you park, the terminal itself is only a short transfer away.

Meet & Greet is the most popular choice at Heathrow: you drive straight to your terminal forecourt, hand the keys to a fully insured driver and walk into departures while your car is taken to a secure compound. Park & Ride costs less on longer trips — you park at the compound, keep your keys, and a free shuttle runs to your terminal, typically every 10 to 15 minutes.

Because Heathrow parking is offered by many providers at many price points, comparing before you book is the easiest way to save. The same stay can differ by tens of pounds between providers, and prices move with demand around school holidays and bank holidays.

Tips for Heathrow parking

Match your terminal

Terminal 5 drivers meet you on the departures forecourt, while Terminals 2 and 3 share a meeting point — your confirmation email includes exact directions for your booking.

Book early for summer

Heathrow prices rise sharply in July, August and over the Christmas break. Booking a few weeks ahead usually locks in a cheaper tier.

Check cancellation cover

If your flight plans might change, choose a rate with cancellation cover so a moved flight does not leave you out of pocket.

Want to keep your keys?

Some Park & Ride compounds let you park your own car and keep the keys — filter for it if you would rather nobody else drives yours.

How Heathrow parking works

Heathrow has 4 terminals, and the parking that suits you depends on which one you fly from and how long you are away. Meet & Greet is fastest at the terminal; Park & Ride is usually cheapest over longer trips.

Every provider listed here supplies its own security information, opening hours and instructions, which we display on the result and in the details panel. Where an airport access charge is not included in the headline price, it is shown separately before you pay.

Directions, meeting points and contact numbers are sent with your confirmation email and repeated on your booking page, so you have them when you arrive.
